  • How much does the tour cost?
    Our ghost tour costs $20 per person.
  • What should I bring on the tour.
    Here is a list of items that we suggest that you bring: Water Bug spray Flashlight (MUST HAVE) Digital Voice Recorder Cell Phone (make sure it has a charge) Portable speaker ( bluetooth) Camera or Video Camera Any other equipment you wish to bring ( remember that this is a hiking tour so you will want to pack light)
  • Is the tour Handicapped Accessible?
    No, this tour is not handicapped accessible, the terrain is not suitable for wheel chairs, most of it is in the woods hiking.
  • Can i bring a stroller?
    No, this tour is not suitable for strollers since this is hiking in the woods, and not suitable for children under the age of 9.
  • How much walking is involved?
    We will cover roughly 3 to 4 miles round trip, however, we do go slow, and we take rest breaks often.
  • I use a cane to walk, can I still attend this tour?"
    Absolutley, if you use a cane you can still attend the tour, we take frequent breaks, and we will also have one guide available for those that need to go at slower pace.
  • Are we guarnteed to see a ghost?
    Ghosts do not come out on command, so we do not guarntee that you will encounter a spirit on the tour. We will however guarntee that you will get the history, the ghost stories, the rumors and the chance to use our paranormal equipment.
  • Do you offer private tours?
    Yes, we can schedule a private group tour for groups of 6 or more. Our private tours can be scheduled Sunday to Thursday. If you want a private group tour for a Friday or Saturday, you will need to call us at 682-209-1184 or email us at ghostsofriverlegacypark@gmail.com to see if we will have a guide available to host your private group at least 48 hours in advance.
  • How many people attend the public tours?
    Our public tours can have anywhere between 10 and 20 guests.
  • Is it dangerous in the woods?
    Ghosts are not the only thing you have to worry about in the woods. On our tours we have encountered spiders, rattle snakes, bob cats and other wildlife not to mention posion oak and poison ivy. To be safe, NEVER go off alone, travel in groups of at least two, always have your cell phone on you in case of emergencies and pay attention to the 911 markers on the trails. We carry with us a basic first aid kit.
  • What Paranormal Equipment do you have?
    We have several pieces of equipment that we have that you can use including: K-II Meters EMF METERS Boo Buddy (interactive ghost hunting bear) Digital Voice Recorders Dowsing rods Pendulums Motion Detectors
  • Are there any ghost hunting phone apps you recommed?
    Yes, while there a ton of ghost hunting apps out there most of them are fake. Here is a list of a few apps that we have used and that we will are authentic, some are free and some are paid. Spiritus Ghost Box Ghost Hunting Tools Portal Plus Deadwave Necrophonic
  • What clothing should we wear?
    Dress weather appropriate, however, we always suggest wearing jeans due to the fact that we have come across poison ivy on the trail. Closed toed shoes only, hiking boots or tennis shoes with good grip are recommended. If it is possible it may rain, we suggest brining a rain slicker or pancho.
  • River Legacy Park is a public park. why are you charing?
    It is free to enter into River Legacy Park and to go to these locations on your own if you can find them (not well known areas). We have obtained a permit through the city of Arlington Parks & Recreation Department to host these tours. We pay the city of Arlington a fee to obtain the permit. You are paying for our tour guides time, knowledge, and use of our equipment.
